In lieu of an actual blog, I will let the music do the talking (erm...blogging)
Thanks to a coworker for reminding me of the beauty of the 80's

i like how he totally takes it to another level at 1:45. it's amazing.
Heavy, heavy keyboard in this. Oh God, the keyboards.... remember when even guitars were keyboards... I do.
So I really don't understand a few things about this song. Why a "little row boat to find ya?" Is this all the good 'ol Matt could come up with that rhymes with 'China?' Or are his seamanship skills lacking? There are other possiblilities... Ummm...vagina!?! Or were the 80's more innocent?
And why: "you had to get your laundry clean?" God... from what!?! Oh, probably the excessive amounts of hair gel ...either that or the hasty exhumation of human remains?!?
Finally, when this guy says "work me over" all of two things come to mind. One being the stories from Dad describing his 'tactical baton' training in the service. Two; the very vivid picture of Matthew Wilder being scourged.
Really there are more problems with this song than attributes... which pretty much reflects how the 80's were anyhow. It is good to remember that era for what it was. Thanks.
Agreed, there are alot of problems lyrically with this song. The hasty laundry does raise more questions than it answers.
For the record I also think there was human remains exhumation in the back story of this song.
